Heritage in Schools is an art project supported by the INTO and The Heritage Council and will run over five weeks. The classes involved are Junior Infants, Senior Infants, First, Third and Fourth classes.

The artist Mary Wallace is working with the class teachers and our theme is nature and growing. Some of the children’s artwork has been displayed in the corridor. For the first session there was a field-trip to the Somer-Cashen’s farm to the big pond for some inspiration. Thanks to Frank and Marie for accommodating this visit and to the parents who helped the teachers accompany the children down to the farm.
