Today, Monday the 21/12/2020 the children in Screen National School had a wonderful surprise as Santa, en-route to Australia dropped in for a special Socially Distanced visit with a present for every child!!!!! A Massive thank you to the PA who contacted the Elves’ Office to organise this treat and a thank you the Man of the Moment…. Santa!
We at Screen NS would like to extend our thanks to all those involved with the organisation of our Christmas Crib and outdoor lights display this year. On Friday the 4th of December the children in Screen NS will attend a virtual Advent mass celebrated by our Parish Priest Fr Denis Kelly via Zoom at 11:00am from St Cyrian’s Church, Screen to Screen National School.

Kilmainham Jail Visit! This March the 6th class went to Dublin to visit Kilmainham Jail to fit into their SESE and English curriculum with learning about the 1916 rising and also their class Novel ‘Friend or Foe’. A great day was had by all with a brief introduction to Modern Art in the Irish Museum of Modern Art in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham too.
