On Friday the 4th of December the children in Screen NS will attend a virtual Advent mass celebrated by our Parish Priest Fr Denis Kelly via Zoom at 11:00am from St Cyrian’s Church, Screen to Screen National School.
Screen NS has introduced a theme of the week for every pupil and their families! This work has been designed by teachers to help you all get active while learning during the month of June and Wednesdays have been left open for the completion of any activities you would like to try from those listed. This March the 6th class went to Dublin to visit Kilmainham Jail to fit into their SESE and English curriculum with learning about the 1916 rising and also their class Novel ‘Friend or Foe’. A great day was had by all with a brief introduction to Modern Art in the Irish Museum of Modern Art in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham too.

Here in Screen We are going to celebrate Grandparents’ Day on the 17th of February! We’re already busy getting ready for this special day in our calendar! Mass at 11am followed by refreshments in the school and an opportunity to visit the kids in their classrooms. All are welcome.
