One of the highlights during our week of activities has to have been ‘Dancing with Jonny’. Every class was mesmerised by his talented approach to the teaching of dance and we look forward to seeing him in Screen NS again soon!

On Friday the 4th of December the children in Screen NS will attend a virtual Advent mass celebrated by our Parish Priest Fr Denis Kelly via Zoom at 11:00am from St Cyrian’s Church, Screen to Screen National School.

This March the 6th class went to Dublin to visit Kilmainham Jail to fit into their SESE and English curriculum with learning about the 1916 rising and also their class Novel ‘Friend or Foe’. A great day was had by all with a brief introduction to Modern Art in the Irish Museum of Modern Art in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham too.

Here in Screen We are going to celebrate Grandparents’ Day on the 17th of February! We’re already busy getting ready for this special day in our calendar! Mass at 11am followed by refreshments in the school and an opportunity to visit the kids in their classrooms. All are welcome.
